EnviometTM offers excellent transition metal chelating and peroxide stability combined with comparable performance to EDTA and DTPA. It outperforms other biodegradable chelants.
It has two main applications. The first is as a transition metal stabilizer in both peroxygen-based and dithionite-based bleaching. The second is in improving the de-inking process in the manufacture of recycled paper.
