The specialist home heating oil market in Europe, Middle East and Africa requires products that can deliver a combination of performance enhancements. We have been supplying this region with fuel additives for light heating oil systems (LHO) for many years. We are the market leader in Europe.

We supply a range of fuel additives for heating systems that improve reliability, reduce emissions and improve operation cold weather. The end user benefits from lower costs and less maintenance.

In a cold environment, light heating oil systems can suffer from poor combustion. This creates problems with blocked filters and inevitably increases the wear and life expectancy of the heating system's engine.

Our fuel additives work by improving the overall operation of the heating system in various ways. For example, the cold flow properties of the fuel are improved, allowing efficient combustion to take place at significantly lower temperatures.

Other typical applications for our fuel additives include reducing sediment deposits, inhibiting corrosion in pipework, masking fuel oil odours and preventing bacterial growth in the central heating system.

Extensive research into re-odorants has enabled our technical team to develop additives that are both effective and stable. This has involved complex chemistry with the fuel oil components like mercaptans and hydrogen sulphide.

Our additives are sold either to allow LHO producers to produce a premium, high-performance LHO, or through distributors to consumers, to allow them to treat their own systems personally.
