Paul Jennings
President and Chief Executive Officer

Paul Jennings joined the company in 2002 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in July 2005. Paul is also a non-Executive Director of Exide Technologies. Prior to this Paul was Chief Financial Officer for Griffin LLC, a joint venture between Griffin Corporation and Dupont in the crop protection chemical industry based in the USA. From 1986 to 1999, he held the positions of Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance for various divisions and regions of Courtaulds plc. He worked in Europe, USA and Singapore, in the fibre, chemical, film and coating industries.

Ian Cleminson
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Ian Cleminson serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this he spent four years as Financial Controller of the Performance Chemicals and Fuel Specialties divisions. Before joining the company in 2002, Ian held a number of senior financial management and accounting positions. He spent three years as Financial Controller of the Superabsorbents division of BASF plc and worked as a senior manager in the corporate tax department of KPMG. He has a Master of Social Science degree from Birmingham University.

Patrick Williams
Executive Vice President and President, Fuel Specialties

Patrick Williams joined the company in September 2005 as Executive Vice President and Managing Director, Fuel Specialties. Prior to this Patrick carried out a number of senior management and sales roles within Octel Starreon. His last position was Chief Executive Officer. Before joining the Starreon Corporation in 1993, Patrick helped establish a number of business ventures. He currently holds equity positions in a small exploration and oil production company and a real estate business.

Cathy Hessner
Senior Vice President Human Resources

Cathy Hessner joined the company in March 2003 and rose quickly to the position of Senior Vice President, Human Resources. Prior to this Cathy was the European Human Resources Director for US commodity chemicals company Nova Chemicals and, from 1995 to 1999, European Human Resources Director for U.S. brewing corporation Anheuser-Busch. Before joining Anheuser-Busch she spent nine years with various divisions of Mars Incorporated carrying out a range of Human Resources and general business roles. Cathy has a PhD in Econometrics.

Ian McRobbie
Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Ian McRobbie joined the company in January 2002 and was appointed Senior Vice President, Research and Technology, shortly afterwards. Prior to this Ian had spent thirteen years as Technical Director of A H Marks and Company Ltd., a privately owned British chemical company operating in the agrochemical and specialty chemical markets. Ian has also held senior research and manufacturing roles for Seal Sands Chemical Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hexcel Corporation in California and BTP plc, now part of Clariant.

Richard Shone
Vice President Safety, Health and Environment

Richard Shone joined the company in May 1997 as Vice President Safety, Health and Environment of the Corporation. From 1986 to 1997, Richard was General Manager, Group Safety Hazards and Environment with Laporte plc. He began his career working for the UK's Health and Safety Executive.

Andrew Hartley
Vice President and General Counsel

Andrew Hartley joined the company as Corporate Secretary in November 2004 and was later appointed Vice President and General Counsel to Innospec. Prior to this Andrew was Company Secretary and General Counsel of BASF plc, the UK subsidiary of the global chemical company, BASF AG. He started his career in private practice before taking up his first in-house legal positions in 1990.
