Our technologies are used in a wide range of everyday products from skin cleansers, anti-perspirants / deodorants and moisturisers through to sunscreens, shampoos and hair conditioners. Innospec offer a number of products in the Iselux® range of mild, transparent, sulfate-free surfactants. These offer formulators even greater freedom to create novel and exciting shampoos, body and facial washes and bath foam. Innospec have extensive expertise in sulfate-free technologies for hair and skin cleansing applications and provide a range of products including the Pureact Isethionate and Taurate surfactants as well as our revolutionary surfactant Iselux®. We also provide detailed technical formulation support and guidance to help you easily transition to sulfate-free.
Innospec also provide high performance products for the Suncare sector. The Finsolv® range of benzoate esters are excellent solubilisers with a light, non-oily after-feel for organic sunscreen filters in sunscreen sprays and lotions as well as everyday moisturisers and make-up. Additionally formulators and consumers alike benefit from the Dispersun high-performance dispersing agents for inorganic filters and pigments which increase UV absorbance, reduce formulation viscosity and minimise whitening on application to the skin.
Unique to Innospec is NatrlquestTM E30, a biodegradable chelating agent which also acts as a preservative potentiator. NatrlquestTM can be used as a direct replacement and 'greener' alternative to EDTA in personal care formulations.
