RediSeal – The Industry’s First 100% Acid Soluble, High Solid, High Fluid Squeeze Pill

When drilling in high-permeable production zones, avoiding damage or plugging is critical.  But in situations where losses are seen, it’s difficult to control mud losses. That’s because there are few loss circulation material (LCM) options that will not cause damage.  Introducing RediSeal™—IOFS’s industry-first solution which, in combination with large size particle distribution, not only seals off any size sands, large fractures or micro fractures, but maintains the high compression strength necessary to hold a tight-seal throughout the drilling section.

Facing a wide range of complex formations, drilling operators often find it difficult to predict when fluid losses will occur. IOSF’s Vanguard® technology has proven to be the industry’s leading time and money saving “go-to-solution” when it comes to minimizing fluid loss.  With the widest particle size available on the market, Vanguard delivers preventative applications, builds formation integrity, prevents cement fall back, and heals catastrophic losses.  And these are only a few of its time and money saving advantages.

A Complimentary Method of Assessing Clay Stabilizers used in Hydraulic Fracturing

Reservoirs having clays that swell/migrate can potentially impair production. When these clays are present, it is advantageous to use clay stabilizers to mitigate this damage potential.  This talk will describe a complimentary method for testing clay stabilizers that uses a modified core flow design containing unconsolidated core material that indirectly measures clay swelling and fines migration potential.

HiRate™ Plus – The Ultra-Fast Hydrating Friction Reducer for Slick Water Fracturing

Challenges facing hydraulic fracturing operations vary significantly. In particular, slick water treatments depend largely on the performance of invert emulsion friction reducers to achieve and maintain pump rates required for proppant transport. Numerous types of invert emulsions have been established during field use, but are largely hindered by water quality and speed of polymer inversion. A new method for providing friction reduction rapidly through inversion, as well as offering a wide range of water compatibility, has been developed that allows customers to achieve higher pump rates while maintaining operational efficiency.

Innospec Flowback Formulations—Improved Water and Oil Recovery Thru Optimization of Surfactant Chemistries

During hydraulic fracturing and oil recovery in shale formations, capillary forces can reduce the potential for recovery of water and oil. Innospec flowback formulations are designed to efficiently counter these forces. This talk will describe various flowback formulations optimized to work under a variety of conditions as well as the tests that are used to match the right surfactant formulation for a given application.
